The conference was devoted to issues of public policy in the sphere of information and documentation support of e-government, legal and regulatory framework and information-documentation technology.

In Moscow has XVI international research and practical conference “The Documentation in an Information Society. The Electronic Government: Records Management” taken place. In conference have more than 200 participants taken part.
Magazines “Herald of an Archivist”, “The Information Bulletin” of Euro-Asian regional branch of the International council of archives (Eurasica), and the portal-community AFHIDELO.RU have Information support rendered.
Conference was devoted to state policy questions in the sphere of information and documentary support of the electronic government, to information and documentary technologies of the electronic government, to legal and regulatory framework in this sphere, to realization of the concept of interdepartmental electronic documents circulation, to experience of realization of the concept of the electronic government; to granting of services in electronic form, and also to questions of preparation and improvement of professional skills for realization of projects of information and documentary support of the electronic government.
Conferees have planned some projects for active cooperation of experts of scientific discipline of documentation from difference countries for the decision of actual problems of scientific discipline of documentation. For example:
elaboration and perfection of legal and regulatory framework and methodical support of realization of the project “Electronic government”;
theoretical bases of the organization of interdepartmental electronic document circulation;
development of high-grade electronic information and documentary interaction between public authorities and the commercial organizations, and also private persons;
preparation and improvement of professional skills of shots for realization of projects of information and documentary support of the electronic government.
