Annotation
In the article anticipating the publication of a letter from A.F. Izyumov – one of the leaders of the Russian Historical Archive (1885-1950), existed in 1923-1945 in Prague – to the historian of Slavic, academician V.I. Picheta (1878-1947), the discussion on the scientific and educational contacts the letter’s author and the addressee, as well as their joint conservation activities of Russian and Belarusian archives in 1920., collection and use of foreign archival Rossica in 1930-40 years are viewed.
