Abstract
This article reviews major types of documentary sources stored in the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus, which concern the activities of German intelligence and sabotage school (courses) in the occupied territories of Belarus in the days of the Great Patriotic War. As a result of the classification, the author identifies four major groups of documents: organizational/management, plans and reports, judicial and investigative, and reference materials. Most sources have not yet been introduced into scientific use. Information potential of the documents allows address little studied, yet significant aspects of the subject: total number of schools and trained secret agents, use of women, children and Jews in reconnaissance and sabotage work, as well as its results. Documents analysis proves a high degree of representativeness and credibility, and their introduction into scientific use will largely expand current knowledge and correct embedded stereotypes concerning the issue.
