Organizational, legal and ideological foundations of the Party Control Comission of the Central Committee at the CPSU (b) in 1934–1936

Annotation

The article is devoted to the reorganization of the supervisory control apparatus of the USSR in the middle of 1930s, the initial period of a special agency — the Commission of Party Control (CPC) at the CPSU (b). The author has made an attempt to explore the status of the CPC in the political system of the USSR, to define its functional purpose.
