Kalachov’s Archaeological institute and rise of archive business in the Orenburg region in second half of 19th century
Annotation
In this article the process of organization of the first Orenburg historical archive at the end of 19th century is reconstructed. Research is based on documents from the State archive of the Orenburg region, they were introduced into scientific circulation for the first time. The conclusion about an outstanding role of N.V. Kalachоv and its Archaeological institute in this process both with methodical and from the organizational point of view is drawn.
