Annotation
The article presents review of the funds of the Scientific Archive of the Komi Science Centre of the Ural branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, organized in 1953. A rich documental corpus on the history of the formation and development of the regional science centre in the European North-East of Russia, history of science in the Republic of Komi and research work of some scientists has been accumulated in the Archive. The funds include scientific documents with the results of the research work of the academic institutions in all spheres of science; administrative documents, reflecting multi-aspect activity of the Academy of Sciences in management and coordination of fundamental researches; documents on the staff and personal documents, characterizing some personalities and reflecting life and research activity of the outstanding scientists of the country.
