The encyclopedia “Russia in the Civil War. 1918–1922” is a fundamental scientific work, which shows military, political, social, economic and cultural processes in the country in 1918–1922. This publication includes more than 2900 entries describing the events of the Civil War within the wide life context of that time. It also contains about 2000 rare photographs, photographs of paintings, sculptures, maps, diagrams, plans of military operations, graphic works.
The project team consisted of more than 150 researchers representing archives, academic institutes, museums, universities of Russia, Belarus, Ukraine. The encyclopedia is designed for everyone interested in the military, political, economic and cultural history of Russia.
