Annotation

The new outlook on the history of the Great Patriotic War is closely connected with the fact that the problem has assumed a “human dimension” of studying private culture of soviet people under war time conditions. The solution of the problem are connected with the utilization and analysis of epistolary sources. The article studies nature and content of written communication front-line soldiers with their children and wives. It is concluded that soldiers participate in the lives of children their education moral and material support.
