Annotation

In the article the type of a mass source is analyzed - letters of the Soviet citizens in mass media in critical years of the Soviet Union and modern Russia existence which contain a big information resource for studying of public, political, social and cultural life of society that allows to involve them in a scientific turn, to develop analysis techniques, to use them on different historical plots.
