Annotation

In the article the author makes an attempt at rationalizing such notions as “signs”, “attributes” and “functions” of the document on basis of philosophical systematic approach. Characteristics of the material data medium, information and document’s form, attributes and functions of the document as an integral information and material object and the rational action tool are also considered here.
