New Trends and Figures of Document Management in Federal Executive Agencies

Abstract

The article includes the results of an analysis of data on scope of documentation and its changes in 2011–2013 collected by the All-Russian Archival Science and Records Management Research Institute (VNIIDAD) during a monitoring of electronic workflow in the federal executive authorities. The significance of the research is associated with electronic interdepartmental interaction between various federal executive agencies in execution of state and municipal functions and services by electronic means and transit to electronic data processing in internal activities. Studying changes in scope of documentation in federal executive authorities allows to assess the document management state-of-the-art and to determine the trends of further electronic workflow expansion.
